Anyone whose had experience could you please tell me them and what they did to help you they wont do the stapleing because it would cause more problem for transplant..please share your experiences i am still in the hospital and there trying to figure what to do..i was taking off suction yesterday but 40% of my lungs deflated again..i realy feel this all happend because i was deprived my pulmozyme for two weeks as i was waking up wheezing really bad and was tight so i think this triggerd it all

I've had ten lung collapses. All on the right side. My doc said after about 5 that they'd all get smaller and less frequent than the previous one. He was right. They eventually stopped. Do not get the lung stapled or cemented up. It's a bad decision if you need a transplant in the future. I'm actually on the transplant list right now.

I just had to wait it out. I don't know what else to say. It was just chest tube after chest tube. It was really hard and depressing but I made it through. I was probably the biggest hurdle I've had with CF so far.

Each pneumo was spontaneous though. They came at totally random times. Which sucked. I eneded up taking a lot of time off of school.

I don't know what else to say. I'm sorry you have to go through this. let me know if you have any questions.
