I can not express what hope this gives us all for our kids future if it pans out to work, it works on animals and now the human testing begains in phase 1 and 2 right now.. just got approval ...

the CFtrust in the UK are hoping to start a 'gene therapy' trial next year, it is in front of the 'ethics comittee'' for consideration just now.

Hi Guys,

I have just logged on to the site regarding Bronchitol. It is GREAT NEWS and has lifted my hopes and spirits today, well for a while.
We all have hope and the future to be brighter for us all I pray for that!!!
Thanks to you all for finding the link and I cannot wait for 2008 and I have heard of many other trial and it is hoping something will happen for all of the CF sufferers we will have a break through!!! Keep praying.

well the link i posted was from sciclone pharmaceuticals and it is a great trial it has the med cpx on clinical trials. It is for attacking the c.f at its roots of dysfunction so i am happy to of posted this and it is the one trial we all want to go successfully for it will then stop c.f and halt it in its track...thank god for smart scientists here in america....
