Scotland added it in 2003, if it had not our son would not have been dx, and treatments started at such an early age.

I am a member of the Ohio Cystic Fibrosis Legislative Task Force.
We are so excited to see this become a reality in Ohio.
Claudette,

Just a reminder of recent history..... Tressell is 4-1 against MI.
It seems you can't beat us at much lately.

My wife recently visited my aunt and uncle at their new home and I refused to go.
Why? They built it in Battle Creek, MI.

Go Bux! TBDBITL!

All in good fun! Hope you have a good year until 11/18

Kim thank you so much for any work you did on this! It was something I wrote the doctors about when our son was diagnosed after 4 months of no answers and suffering. It means alot to know others won't have to and have a much better chance all around.

We are near Cleveland...where are you if you don't mind my asking ;-)

I'm in Akron, and this is the article I read...

http://www.ohio.com/mld/ohio/news/breaking_news/15389584.htm

I was a little bothered by the first paragraph -- am I being overly
sensitive??? It reads "Newborn babies born in Ohio will
be tested for a potentially deadly genetic disorder that prevents
fat from being turned into energy and cystic fibrosis, which is
always fatal."

Ummm, well life is fatal too, eventually!!! I just don't see
how you can say that something that has a median age of 36 years is
"always fatal." This is the article my friends and
colleagues will see, I think it is irresponsible.
A little off topic and I hope it doesn't offend...

Why is a buckeye fan called a buckeye?

Because they're all a little nuts.

Go blue naturally.

Hey Heather, we are close. I didn't read that one...it is a horrible description of the disease and borderline unfactual. I agree that life is fatal too...heck, if you think of it philosophically...we begin dying the minute we are conceived.

Candice,

Good one. You were 9 or 10 when Tim Biakabatuka ran for over 300 yards on us and
cost us a rose bowl bid and probable national championship. I was in the "Big House"
that day. Gosh it smells up there. Anyway, I wound up selling my airfare and hotel accomodations for Pasadena to a Michigan fan.

Now that will make you NUTS.

Go Bucks!
