for the past couple of days, and every once in a while i'll get nosebleeds, for no reason at all. is this a side effect of a medicine? or just an example of the screwed up cf sinuses? most of the time i'm able to get them stopped pretty quickly but every once in a while it'll make a huge mess. it seems to happen only at night or when i first get up in the morning, i'll wake up with them - and my bed soaked, i have to keep a matress protector on it so i don't ruin it with blood. or they'll just start at random. am i just special and others don't get this or is this somehow cf related?

I get them ALL the time. I don't use nasal steroids but I think it is just a side effect of having constantly dry and infected sinuses...I also blow my nose all the time so that probably doesn't help either <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">

i don't get nose bleeds persay (i assume you mean blood dripping out of your nose), but when i blow my nose it's often bloody. i think it's because my room is too dry, but i'm also on flonase.
