Not CF Related -- Chocolate Salt

Last weekend we went to the History Museum in the City and one of the exhibits was "Chocolate". Afterwards we went to the gift shop and there was a container of Chocolate Salt -- sea salt, chocolate and vanilla powder. Indications were that it could be sprinkled on broiled fruit or on cookies and brownies.

Knowing how much DS loves salt cookies -- chocolate chip cookies sprinkled with salt. I picked up a bottle of it. Hoping to bake some cookies this weekend for him. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

This is the stuff I got. I've also discovered that similar to the aged white cheddar fiasco, that he prefers fine chocolates as well. I was given a godiva chocolate as part of a promotion while shopping on saturday and he woofed it down. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

i've never had chocolate salt but i've had chocolates and caramels with salt on them and they were delicious! the salty/sweet combo is soo good!

I just saw yesterday that Starbucks has a new Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate. I'm going to have to try the salt cookies, DS would love them, he loves straight salt but also loves sweets.
