Found out this morning that I have mono! Yay. A coworker of mine came to work for 3 days last week with such a bad sore throat that he couldn't talk. I have no clue why he even came to work that way! I told him to get tested for mono and he finally did, it was positive, and now I have it too. Lovely. On the plus side I get a week long break from work, doc's orders!

My head is pounding, I can hardly swallow, jello is my friend. Any of you fellow CFers had mono? Anything I should look out for besides the usual?

I was hoping you didnt catch it & that it was just a simple cold. BUMMER!


Keep hydrated is all I can say. I would think eating anything with calories unless you do shakes would be difficult for awhile.

I have Brian out right now getting instant pudding (can make that with some cream to get the calories) jello, popcicles, and soup. I think I can manage some mashed potatos and mac and cheese.
