This may seem like such a strange topic, you might even think it's off-topic.
But, I don't think so!!
I had noticed since I've had to neb my NAC in my computer room, that my CD's have gotten a "cloudy" residue on them.
Suddenly, one of my CD players (the one to my computer) has been acting up, and I think it may have to do with the mist clouding up the lens.
My CD's can be cleaned off with simply wiping with water, but that would mean the CD lenses may require direct contact when cleaning as well...and sometimes the optics aren't as easy to access, and they are very delicate to clean!
Although my NAC causes this, I'm wondering if anyone else who I'm sure nebs by their computer, has noticed the "cloud" on their CD's or not?
Rather than take my computer into service, I'm going to attempt to clean my optics on my own....word of caution:
I'm a professional, so all you amatures...don't try this at home!! (get hubby, or your guru to help you!)
