Oklahoma Centers- Opinions???

My son is almost a month old and tested positive for DDf508 on his newborn screenings after having surgery for meconium ileus when he was 4 days old.

We live in Tulsa, OK and have been recommended to see Dr. T.C.- whom we've heard mixed opinions about. Our son was treated by Dr. T. C. in the hospital for the 3 weeks he was in NICU and while we like his use of the Danish method, we question the way he handled a situation with the pediatric surgeon who performed my child's surgery. The surgeon happens to be a very close friend of my parents whom I've known for years and is nationally recognized.

It could be run-of-the-mill clashing of egos but it made me uncomfortable that the two of them were fighting over my son's care and I felt like my son was the pawn. The surgeon was focused on getting my son recovered from surgery and Dr. C was focused on treating the CF- for which the only symptoms my son had exhibited were the meconium ileus. My son has cultured negative for any bacteria in his lungs thus far.

My husband and I are willing to take our son to any center in a 300 mile radius... Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, we just want some opinions from people treated at centers in our area and any advice you can give on this subject.
Thanks!
