OMG my insurance is such a pain

(2/26)I was suppost to be in the hospital right now but because my insure wants nothing to do Loma linda hospital i have to go through all this junk just to get a referal just so i can get a room
even though i have the referal were just waiting for a room in loma linda. and we've been waiting since 5o'clock last nite and still waiting <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">

Insurance companies can be such idiots. Fortunately, we have the doctors on our side, and they usually get mad after a while and slap the insurance companies straight. =-) love it when they do that. Good luck.

in ireland, i don't need insurance as government pay for us. we used medical card. is it true in usa that u need insurance for admittin hospital? does u think tat suck? i find it's miscarriage of juctise!

The US isn't rich by any stretch. We still owe money to France for their help in the civil war!!! I have to work full time so I can have insurance even though it wears me out because the social security administration says I'm too healthy to get covered. But some alcholic that killed their liver can get covered. How does that work?

You dont have to have insurance to get admitted into the hospital. They will help you no matter what. we have medical cards too. My daughters have Insurance plus a mediacal card so we dont pay for anything. Whatever our insurance dont cover the medical card does. There are requirements for the medical card though, they dont just give you one!! If you dont have insurance you can fill out paperwork at the hospital also and they go by your income so you either pay by your income or nothing at all.
