We are in the end of our 5 1/2 week hospital stay and today 3 of the MN Twins came to visit the kids! My son got a autographed calendar and a signed mascott photo and I happened to have my Twins t-sirt here so they signed it to! They were very nice guys. They talked to him and played with a few toys, my son was so excited about it. I had to sign a release form because hey were taking photos. So maybe his picture will show up in some publication. If it does, it would be nice if they send him one.

Hey, that's cool! We once got free tickets to a baseball game for showing up at clinic at the right time. Of course, they got all huffy when I told them how many tickets I needed. But, I pointed out we had that many people in the family and exactly who was I supposed to tell wasn't important enough to go to the game with the others?
I don't go for the only the sick kids get the treats thing. Needles, hospital stays those get treats. But, something someone gets just for having these wretched diseases, yeah then all siblings need to get them because we all live with this stuff.
