I was resistant to almost all antibiotics pre-TX. I would have to use at least 3 antibiotic combinations at a time to get any kind of results. I was also on antibiotics at least every 6 weeks. Now, I mainly use oral antibiotics like cipro. I have used merropenum IV too with good results. It's amazing how the new lungs respond to old antibiotics that I was resistant to before. I am also on inhaled colistin once per day (3oo mg) and that seems to work really well. Take care! Kim
