Is there anyone who gives their children oral glutathione? If so, do you give them anything with it that is supposed to make it work better?

I bought the oral gluthathione a month ago. I have not given it to my children yet though. I am a bit anxious about giving it to them until I know for sure how much to give. My children's doctor said I need to be cautious about anything I give that he doesn't prescribe. Not much help there.

ks for replying. I feel the same way, anxious, and I don't want to give them more than neccesary but I did hear that there were some other things, vtamin c or something that would make it work better. Just curious if anyone had tried anything like that.

Not a child but I take glutathione. I take both inhaled and oral. Two treatments of buffered GSH a day via nebulizer and 2 capsules a day of GSH-curc caps. They have GSH,NAC,vitamin c,selenium, curcumin(I know NAC and vitamin c are considered important for absorption of GSH).

If you are only doing oral Glutathione then lipoceutical glutathione might be a better bet as its better absorbed.

my doc has approved my use of glutathione and monitors my treatment and progress with it. I haven't had antibiotics since dec and am doing the best I have done in a long time! And my pfts reflect that, my FEV1 has gone up quite a bit for a 20yr old with CF! glutathione has been of the best treatment decisions I've made

As for as the recent glutathione news. Not long ago CHEST printed a whole thing about it as well as some other medical journals. I know some trials of it were suppossed to start..one in Europe I believe and there was some talk about some trials here in the US

Please get a copy of Dr. Ray Strand's book entitled "What your doctor doesn't know about nutritional medicine maybe killing you", the book is quite enlightening and there are sections which discuss about oral gluthathione

Hi anon,

I have also been looking into oral GSH for my daughter, but haven't used it as yet because it too am concerned as to what unknown affect it mighthave.

I have a friend who uses the oral GSH, on her daughter who is 20mnths old. She has been doing great on it. If want more info google Valerie Hudson and GSH, her wbsite will give you all the info you need.

As for taking other supplements with the oral GSH, vitamin c has been mentioned to help with digestion. Also DHA, which is known to work together with GSH.

The website for recomened oral GSH is www.theranaturals.com

Hope this helps
Regards Eli
