oral syringes

Something I saw on another thread made me think about this. Does anyone know where I can get some oral syringes for giving my 22 mo. old his meds? I am looking for the 3 cc size. All the pharmacy gives is the big bulb ended ones, hate those. Any ideas? Thanks!

Thanks, Allie.

When my son had his ostomy we used to suck the stool out of his bag with the big (60 ml?) syringes. (I know--gross!) We had to have a prescription to get them though. Maybe I could get a dr to write an rx for them.

I had a heck of a time -- came home from the hospital with some b-d ones, but they didn't last long -- had the black rubber tips. I'd ask at the local pharmacy, but they referred me to the hospital pharmacy and they were really rude. I really wanted the baxa ones 'cuz they last forever and I finally found them on the squirrel store site.

Currently I need some 1 ml ones for vitamins. Kinda funny to order them from a squirrel rehab site, but the ones I got are individually wrapped and for medical purposes. Besides... DS is kinda squirrley! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Liza

We just go the local pharmacy (CVS or Walgreen's) and ask for them. The pharmacist usually gives us a bunch for no charge. You might want to try that. These are the 3cc and 5cc size.
