OT-creative gifts for childs daycare/school staff

Does anyone have some creative ideas for cute momentos for daycare caregivers. Daycare workers appreciation day is in May and I'm a part of the Parent involvemnent board at the trio's daycare and we are in need of some ideas. we are looking for stuff that the kids can help make either at school, or home, or a combination to give to their teachers.

I know we've got some creative people on here! Any ideas for me?

Well, there's always food. Have each parent bring in something and treat the staff to a GREAT lunch. We do this at our daycare about 4 times a year. Last week was lasagne and salad for our ladies.

There are always the "handprint" things...get all the kids to put thier handprint on a canvas tote or sweatshirt...and now with all the cute photo hosting sites and the like you could do a cute tote bag with photo's of the kids, too. WHy not make them a montage and e-mail it to all of them. Unique, and they'll love it.

I'm sure you'll get lots of better ideas. Good luck, Julie!

You could make magnets with the kids pictures. Have them decorate a "frame" and then put magnets on the back and insert a photo.
