Our baby has arrived throught IVF

Hey all I know it has been along time since me and my wife have posted probably since about the end of the ivf treatment. Things have been busy and I apologize.

We started the IVF process in april of last year and though doctor's always told me I would never have my own kid growing up I am now the proud father of a beautiful one month old girl (born april 7, 2008 at 2:01pm)

I can say modern medicine is an amazing gift and anyone going through the process stay strong and positive as anyone who knows that has been through it. It will run you dry but it is all worth it in the end.

I hope to post pictures where you guys can see them soon.

Side note: We couldn't afford to have my wife tested for the cf gene before IVF. Plus we knew if she was a carrier it wouldn't have stopped us. We left it up to god and Thank God Kalee is CF free and doesn't even carry the gene. We are truly blessed.

That is awesome!! It gives me such hope for my son who has CF as he gets older and maybe wants children. Congratulations!!!!
