We are going to offer Pari HyperSal 3.5%, 7% and Genericus Sodium Chloride Solution 7% at our store (http://www.medrise.com) at a great price. So I would like to know how many members would be interested and if you could tell me how much do you pay for them.

Our goal is to offer the best price possible for our community.

I would be interested if it was less than the $25 I pay per month. (I use 7% hypertonic saline). That $25 is out of pocket shelf price as our insurance doesn't cover it.

I get it for free from Foundation Care with the filling of an antibiotic or enzyme prescription.

I also get it from Foundation Care for free whenever I refill my Cayston. If I order it from them when I don't need Cayston refilled I pay $5 for it.

I bought a box of 7% last year. It cost me $75 (Canadian dollars)! Because of the very high price, I went back to buying bags of hypertonic saline for $3.50 each.

By mixing 3 mL of 10% with 2 mL of 3%, the twice daily 5 mL of 7% Hypetonic Saline costs me about $20 per month.

I make my own. 88 cents for a gallon of water. Mortons sea salt and a little baking soda. If you really think that what goes into your lungs has to be sterile then you better buy a big plastic bubble and a heppa filter air cleaner to fill it.

Scarecrow is sure right when he says ”If you really think that what goes into your lungs has to be sterile then you better buy a big plastic bubble and a heppa filter air cleaner to fill it”.

A pulmonologist whom I loved and went to for over 17 years use to say the “lungs are like a sewer”. They collect a lot of the crap we breathe in that is in the air. (Unfortunately he was killed by a car while crossing the street. May his memory be for a blessing.)

While we should try to be careful to not breathe in “germs”, just think what’s in the everyday air we breathe. This is especially true when there is some wind. All the crap in the street and on the ground gets airborne and ends up in our lungs.
