Pari Proneb ultra vs Proneb ultra ii compressors...

I have owned the Pari ProNeb for 4 years. The last year I shouldn't have been using it because it was very loud and sometimes didn't turn on. Who knows what sort of molecule it was projecting.
I now have the II - for about 2 weeks I've been using it. It is more compact and quiet. In terms of spec's I don't know anything except that it is still approved for Pulmozyme and TOBI use. I would give it 2 thumbs up.
I've been very happy with Pari's customer service in the past. For this reason I went with them again with this new compressor.

I got a "new" pro neb ultra off the internet from allergybegone.com
It was working great for three weeks or so. All of sudden for no explantion, it gets about 10x louder. It still works but the noise is out of control. What the heck happened? I'm thinking of trying to send it back and get the new version. In my haste I ordered the older version, but should have gotten the upgrade. I could have expected this after a year or so, but only three weeks in. That bothers me.
