Pari trek

In another thread someone mentioned the Pari trek or treatments on the go. Could someone tell me what this is? As Emily gets older, we feel more and more like going out in the evenings (To friend's houses or grandma's...) and an easily portable way to do treatments would be great! Thanks!

I purchased the Pari Trek 2 years ago and it has been great for in the car and when we go camping. My daughter is 3 and we have had no trouble with it. It is a small compressor and comes with various options such as a 12v adaptor, 110 adaptor and batter (for additonal charge). It seems to work well and has helped when we are on the go. Personally I don't find it works as well on battery (treatments take a bit longer) but I have never timed it to be sure. I also may not have charged the battery correctly the first time. Shop online for prices, I found prices varied by $100 at different sites.

Some companies sell the Pari Trek with the portable power accesory kit as a package, and some sell them separately. So when you are shopping, make sure of what the kit actually contains. I agree with the other poster about running it on battery, does not seem a powerful & lossing charge quickly. But we use it a lot plugged into the van so she can do her treatment on the road. It has been great when we wanted to leave early in the AM or stay out late because we can get her neb treatments done while we are traveling!

I was going to order one, but then I contacted the company and was told it can't be used with Tobi, which is why I wanted to get it in the first place.

It's not necessarily that they CAN'T use it, it's that TOBI was only tested with a Pari LC neb and a DeVillbis Compressor

Something with the PSI, which affects how the stuff gets into the lungs. Must not be strong enough or maybe it takes too long? I inquired about it too and was told by a company rep that they to do recommend using the Pari Trek with Tobi. Liza
