A fantastic TED talk on "Participatory Healthcare" and what it can mean for the patient. Professor Bas Bloem has done some amazing things in the Netherlands on Parkinson's and his participatory healthcare model would be so valuable for the CF community! I will be speaking with Professor Bas Bloem in the near future and talking to him about what he has built with parkinsonnet.nl and see how we can apply this to CF for the benefit of all living, caring, treating and paying for CF! Participatory medicine and more specifically participatory healthcare is a needed "solution" to many of the current problems healthcare systems are facing today.
