We brought buddy back from this guy and he had a real big, deep, red abrasion near his genitals. He was very skiddish about it, and we treated it with neosporin. We thought it was odd, because it didn't look like any small nick associated with razor burn or whatever. Come to find out this ***** was torturing dogs!

Also, our dog buddy absolutely refuses to have his nails trimmed, who knows why but thats his thing. It requires like 5 people to hold him in every which way. We asked if he could try to do his nails, and they were done when we picked him up, and he said "Oh it was easy, he let me do it". That should have been a clue right there. I bet he was torturing our dog in some way to force his nails to be clipped.

Lady is calling our county PD to see if she can pile on some charges, though it's unlikely.

That makes me so angry. My mom had to put a dog down after picking him up from the groomer once. The guy told her he had to give him a sedative to get the clumps out. It was a Shih Tzu and we had taken him to the lake, so he had some badly ratted hair.

Mom didn't think much of it until the dog just wouldn't really wake up. He was breathing, but his eyes were rolled back, etc. She took him to the vet who told her he had a massive brain injury and he was shocked the dog was still alive! The vet's suspicion was that the guy knocked him or dropped him off of a grooming table or something. We couldn't believe it, but I guess he had been in trouble for hurting a dog before. They had shut him down, but he opened a new place under his wife's name or something. Such crap! I don't get it.

I'm sorry your dog was traumatized. After that happened to my mom's dog, I have never taken another animal to a groomer. I do it all myself.
