As soon as I saw this post I went and checked out the pink vest and mine should be here in a couple days!!!!!!!! Now I just need to save some money to get a skin for the maching itself...

I just got mine in the mail today and I'm using it for the first time. The only complaint I have is that there is no vibration at the top of the shoulders. Do you think that the upper lobes are getting as much of a shake as the old vest version? I'm a little concerned about that since my upper lobes are always my problem spots. Anyone else think this is an issue?

After using the chest vest during pregnancy and enjoying the coverage it gave me on my upper lobes that the full vest does not I commented about this here and was recommended to ask for the Minnesota vest. It is a full vest that comes up to the collar bone giving the upper lobes a good rumble. You can see it here. Under "variety of options" there is an inset image. It is the vest on the far right. Just call Hill Rom directly and ask them to send you one. If you worry about a cost (which there won't be) tell them your vest is leaking. I'm going to call for the new colored one as I'd like to try it to see if I get a better treatment with it. I don't really care about the color or it's washability.

It goes much lower on my chest than the old black one and I often have to leave the bottom buckle undone because it's just too low on my stomach. It also rides up a little. Plus, it doesn't have vibration around the shoulders, which bothers me a little. Anyone else notice problems with the new washable vests?

The shoulders do lie flat, but the upper back inflates much more on the new washable one- I think because it's not trying to inflate over the curve of the shoulder so can concentrate the force on the back where it should be. It inflates all the way up the chest, but I do wish it was a 'closer' fit- the V annoys me and seems to limit coverage of the upper lobes. The old vest was the same way though. I'm interested in trying the Minnesota vest, but Emily likes the washable one so much better (softer and she can do the buckles herself) and I like the hose connection so much more that I may wait until the Minnesota one makes the same improvements before asking to try it.
The new washable IS cut longer; for a growing child it's not a bad thing but I see how this could be an issue for an adult.

I'm so excited. Of course Austin could care less. i seen this post and thought maybe he needs a new vest. his is getting kind of small and he says it hurts. So I called Hillrom and he is getting the new BLUE vest and they are also sending out new hoses. I told the lady he doesnt want to cooperate very much and she said the new vest are softer. Then she asked me what color and i told her i didnt think he would want a pink one and she said "you would be surprised at how many males are ordering the pink ones. LOL. she said she was also going to send new hoses since its been a awhile since we have ordered anything.
