Danny has had a bit of a stuffy nose on and off for about 2 weeks. He has also had a clear runny nose during this time. Are these symptoms of ployps? Or maybe allergies?

The fact that my son had a stuffy nose and a polyp caused his Peds Md to refer him to an ENT specialist. My son had clear and green over 2 months

Could he just have a cold? Maggie's cold can last up to 2 weeks. I've noticed her boogers are thick and difficult to drain at times. I use saline nasal spray up her nose and try to have her blow her nose after. Also, warm baths/showers let the boogers flow. She did have these terribly thick yellow/green boogers last summer with a cough and no temperature it finally went away with antibiotics. Her cf doc thought he'ld seen a polyp, he wasn't sure but he said the ENT would just order saline irrigation with hypertonic solution. I stick with the Simply Saline Nasal spray 3% because when I tried to irrigate my then 3 1/2 year old with HS she told me she hated me and would never let me do that again. She is so cooperative with everything so it must really hurt.

Early on DS had nasty boogies and one of the doctors thought he had polyps. Turned out it was a sinus infection that wouldn't go away. Got put on a month of augmentin and cleared it up.

I've also noticed that when he's on tobi, he gets more boogery. Sounds as if he's got something stuck up there. I usually monitor his breaths (# per minute), see if he feel warm. Time and time again it's the tobi. DH, who usually hangs out during tobi treatments, say his nose and throat tend to burn during tobi time, too.

He not, or ever been on tobi, so its not that. No fever, playing normally. I think he is getting his molars right now. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. He always seems to have thick, crusty boogers but now its just clear running, not all the time, on and off. Also seems to get worse while sleeping. After his nap he usually wakes up pretty stuffy. Don't think its a cold, no one else is sick and its not all the time. Maybe I'll give it a few more days and then call his doc.
