Hi There,

As you can see our little man has out grown the little pool we have used for the last couple years. I loved it because it was small and hard plastic. I can wipe it down every night, and run his toys through the diswasher. Do any of use bigger plastic pools for your kids. I'm so scared of nasty scum growing in it.

Just looking for some advise. If we go bigger, I guess I could keep draining it ever night and then wipe it down.

We had a similar style pool, but larger. I'd just empty it out after we used it and would scrub it down from time to time with bleach or antibacterial wipes. The sun is an excellent sterilizer. So you could empty it, wipe it down and let the sunshine do the rest.

how big are you talking about? a larger kiddie pool or one of those soft sided 4 foot deep things? the bigger ones you can just bomb with the regular pool chlorine. the smaller one you'd probably have to change the water every time

We love our kiddo pool. I dangle my feet in the pool while Kiddo splashes. I insist we change the water daily. We had to get rid of ours though because we were attracting mosquitoes. We just let our sit out in the sun when we are done with it.
