Posture

Hey everyone, I don't post much, so be kind to me

I've been having shoulder pain since last january as a result of a dog walking incident gone wrong. Well, I just started physical therapy for it and the therapist says that the worst posture for the muscles that are damaged is with rounded shoulders and upper spine...my favorite posture. I've been trying to focus on staying straight and all, but it's hard for me to remember. Every time I cough (often, obviously) my shoulders round again and I forget to put them back.

Anyway, I guess my question is do you guys have posture issues? If so, do you have any tricks or advice to help me maintain correct posture through treatments and coughing and life in general? Thanks much in advance!

One thing that helps my posture is doing back exericses. For me, my lower back is weak and hurts if I stand too long, so strengthening your back muscles and upper body is important for posture. That's what I would recommend.

Glad you posted.
