President's first press conference

We shall see what kind's of question's President B. Hussain is asked tonight. Will they be of any substance, will The One be able to aswer without stuttering, stammering, or being evasive? So far he hasn't shown the "eloquence" the press drooled over...You do know that reporters are afraid to ask him any serious questions because if the One doesn't like you--he won't call on you...

Let's see if he is asked why he wants to draw down our missle defense, now that Iran has shown they are developing long-ranch missles that can reach Hawai. Is he even comtemplating the possibility of a nuclear war with Israel and Iran? Let's see if he is asked about Hamas and Israel.

Let's see if he is asked about the lobbist's he has hired (17)--ANOTHER broken campaign pledge. Let's see if he is asked about his vetting process. Let's see if he is asked about his white house press secretary that is being compared to Scott McClellan (any bets on how long he will last?)

Let's see if he is asked about his so-called bipartisianship--the "I won" statement that endeared him to the republicans...Geez, I wish Bush would've said that! Let's see if he is asked who is running the government--him or Queen Nancy and the Joker Reid. Wonder how he will deflect question's about the next part of the TARP bill--has he discovered where all the money has gone from the first one--and if not--what safeguards has he placed on the 2nd half of the funds?

Let's see if he is asked about why he moved the Census under the jurisdiction of the White House, and if he thinks that is against the constitution--he IS supposed to have taught Constitutional law. Let's see if he is asked about how the Census can be manipulated to change

Wonder if anyone will ask why the One is trading in his "Hope" for "Fear", when all he and his fellow dems exponded ad nauseum about how Bush was trading in fear all the time...

*Sigh--so many questions, so little time.

Let's see if he gets upset with any questions..as he has been losing his control lately and slipping into campaign mode. Guess being president IS different than being a community organizer--or running a campaign.

I hope it's worth losing my sleep over--as I'd rather be napping...but I really want to see how this press conference is handled--considering he couldn't handle any questions on the campaign trail.

I think President Obama did a very good job. I don't think he was asked many "softball" questions either, for instance he was asked at whether he'd rule out prosecuting Bush Administration officials. I think he answered intelligently, he responded that if it was proven that they engaged in wrongdoings, they will be prosecuted to the fullest extent. He said nobody is above the law, but then he also said he is committed to looking forward, not backward.

He was asked about bipartisianship Terri. But he said that even though he is still very much committed to the endeavor of bi-partisianship, he will not rely on the very same failed economic theories to get out out of this ditch that helped to drive us in in the first place. He said that's what this election was all about.

President Obama was asked and answered thoughtfully 13 questions, a huge turnaround from emperor Bush. When Bush was in charge, we were lucky if he answered a handful of questions, and they were fixed. I think Obama went out of his way to be as transparent to the American people as possible. That's the second campaign promise he's kept thus far. When he was the Pres-elect, he met with dictators without pre-conditions when he met with Bush at the White House.

And Terri, he did call on Major Garret from FOX news.

Aren't all the questions fixed?! They wouldn't want to embarrass themselves on National Television, since its not like a quiz show!

Was Pres. Obama ever asked about how much Japan has kept the US's neck above water up to this point with the economy? Was Pres. Obama ever asked how the U.S. will help Japan solve issues with North Korea, their (North Korea's) development of long-range missiles, suspected Nuclear Weapons Program, and the abduction of Japanese Nationals?! Or are these too tough of questions to answer for the Public to know what else is going on in the world?!

Forgive my ignorance on this, but are these issues that could have been asked of Bush also? Were they asked if they could/should have been?
