just got off the phone with the school nurse. Maggie was at lunch at school and apparently did not have her lunch enzymes packed in her lunch box(my fault)..I instead had sent 3 packages of "snack enzymes" and none for lunch..Took a few minutes for me to figure it out; got on the phone with Maggie and she told me what I did and i got on the phone with the nurse and told her how many enzymes to give Maggie for lunch(we keep extra in the nurse office for school)...I told the nurse to give her 4 enzymes,,i think the nurse was shocked when Maggie swallowed all 4 at once with no water and was ready to go back to lunch; I'm on the other line saying"Yup, that's what she does; she'll be fine". I am so proud of her for recognizing my mistake and speaking up for herself..I worry about all the things she will be responsible for as a child and teenager; she's watching out for herself.
