Hi,

My parents dog is being tested for pseudo!

If he has it does this mean that he is a risk to me?

OT... love the part about kato.

sarah, why is he being tested for pseudo? do you already have pseudo? perhaps you passed it onto him. theres been a few reports of people passing mrsa onto their pets.

The reason he is being tested is because he has an ear infection that keeps coming back, so he was swabbed for infection and that came back positive but they don't know what infection, we are still waiting on the results of that.

He was put on antibiotics today and my mum read on the bottle that they are to treat pseudo so she phoned the vet and he said that i should stay away from him until the results come back.

He was my brothers dog, my brother had 3 strains of pseudo

I have no infections at all at present
