Pulmozyme (dnase)

I was unaware of this study. If I'm reading it right, 50 percent of patients in this trial actually had their fev1's drop. 34 percent had there fev1's increase. I guess it varies from person to person.

I'm thinking maybe I should give the mucomyst a try, but I'm not sure I could take that "rotten egg" smell.

I myself ,notice if i dont use Pulmozyme for a day or two, i can feel a difference. Its harder for me to bring stuff up. I guess its just like everything else, we all get affected differently by different medications. Some swear by Pulmozyme, and some cant stand it, some will do better with it, some won't. Thanks for the article John <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> I had no idea they did a study on this either.

You get used to the smell. At first, it bugged me all the time when Jeremy was nebbing it. Now, it only bugs me if I'm the one opening the bottle and adding it to the neb cup.

If I stop Pulmozyme for a few days, I start to get clogs, and just that sticky lung feel.
So thankfully, for me it works.
