I started Pulmozyme again today. I used it at the hospital back in September(with a bunch of other inhaled drugs).

Shortly after doing Pulmozyme today I started to feel shaky and jittering. I ate something thinking it might be low blood sugar. Even after eating I feel like am jittery on the inside of my body. I am having a hard time sitting still. (Ahhh!!)

Also when I breath after my treatment I can smell the drug. Weird!!

Is this normal or am I having weird side effect??

Emily started Pulmozyme about 3mo ago. We haven't seen this side effect with her. (She has had an increase in pft's though- about 5%! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> ) She wants to rinse and drink a lot of water when she's done, though, so the smell thing might be similar to something she experiences.

The sensation went away after a while. I did drink two large glasses of water. I am hoping for the rise in pft's... I need to get mine up by the end of February (even just a little bit).

I am super sensitive to most medications... I will see how tomorrow goes. Positive thoughts!!!
