It is with a very sad heart that I'm posting this news, though I see it has already been posted. Paul (Q) passed away early Friday morning, at his apartment in Chicago, with his mother at his side. This was exactly how he wished to die, and I'm happy for him that he was able to leave in the manner he wished.
Although he was no longer active here, I know he touched a lot of people who would want to know about his death. For those who didn't know him, you missed out on an amazing person. His mother asked me to notify his online friends. There will be a funeral Mass in Chicago followed by cremation and a memorial service in Massachusetts after the holidays. I will update with more information as it becomes available.
Paul was more than generous with his knowledge, time and support to those in the CF community, often putting aside his own needs to help others. He was a loyal and devoted friend and will be greatly missed.
