Question about insurance for CF

My 5 year old has CF and he is may lose his his medicaid. We can't afford his medication. What does everybody use to pay for all these bills and Med's?

we overqualify for medicaid also... and we cannot afford insurance.....but our state has a children's insurance....called CHIPS. Check with your social worker,,, they may have this in your state also. There is also a children with special needs insurance that covers like food supplements, and vitamins, stuff like that. You can also check with the CF Pharmacy. They tend to know about all the different programs that the drug companies have to help get the meds your child needs. Also, as already stated, check with your CF social worker, they are ususally a good source of information.
