Question about medicines

Does anyone take the generic pancrease? Does anyone know if vitamins work with the pancrease MT 20, do they work together? Skyleen<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">

Hello, Skyleen. I have never taken the generic pancrease. There has been more than one doctor who very strongly discouraged me from taking it; I'm not sure why.Jarod22 with CF

I take the regular Pancrease - and the generic DOES NOT work. I would insist on the correct medicines. Talk to a lawyer, or call your area's news paper. I would bet they would love to help you with the problem with your son.Good Luck!

I take the generic pancrease. Its called, Pangestyme CN-10....works fine for me, but my nutritionist at the cf clinic told me it doesnt work for every cf patient. If the enzymes your son is taking work for him, it would help with the vitamin absorption as well..
