Hey, i just read in a post from you to an anon poster that you have had a liver transplant, and i was just wondering how it went for you and basically what you went through? i've been told that eventually i will have to have one too and like you i have had biopsies and countless different surgeries and problems with my cf but i'm alot more insecure when it comes to my liver and spleen problems (as i'm sure you can probably connect with) b/c of the odd day with a swollen tummy etc. etc. and then again i'm anxious about when it comes to the time of my transplant what will happen? how much pain? Scars? how long to recover? and general teenager questions i suppose! so it would be great if i could hear about you're experience?

But yeah Ive been there done that, I think that the hardest part is the waiting, & the fear of the unknown but, defiantly the waiting, b/c after that it all goes by pretty fast. Yes there are hard parts and yes it will hurt but it goes by quickly. I was only in the hospital for about 4 weeks. So anyway, just I.M or e-mail me anytime!
