Hello, ladies.

I know this post has been done and re-done a gazillion times, but I wanted to start it anew for any new eyes we may have scanning the pregnancy boards and maybe those who have already answered could humor me.

If you could please answer the following questions, that would be awesome! Thanks!

1. FEV1 pre and during?

2. FVC pre and during?

3. Pancreatic sufficient pre?

4. CFRD pre?

5. Age when got pregnant?

6. C-section or vaginal birth?

7. Any sort of "morning" sickness?

8. How does your CF clinic feel about CFers getting pregnant? Are there certain health criteria they suggest you meet, etc.?

Thanks sooooo much for any information you can give. My lung function is not as good as most people's on here who have had babies, but I'd really like to be a mommy. Either way, it is fun to see how everyone's pregnancy went and what different clinics think about CFers having babies.

only encourage it for women with a an fev1 of 70 or higher and with the appropriate life circumstances-support, help available when we're sick, stable relationships. came up w a one year plan to build me up to prepare for preg.

wanted to add-GOOD job for investigating and planning. you are wise for seeing if your health isn't quite ready and working to get it there. having a child is incredible and possible-but its much better for you and your future child-to do it when your body is ready. preg was a long journey for me-took 2 yrs or so of planning and hard work. but i have my little reward to wake up to everyday-and all the therapies, and sweat and work it took is worth every little smile she gives me!
very few really good things in life come without hard work!
