hey all!

I was just enjoying a bowl of Ramen Noodles and noticed (not for the first time) how salty they are. I was wondering if the amount of salt in them could be beneficial to CFers, as I know they aren't a very healthy choice for most people.

They tend to help me recover from a belly ache when I forget my pills or don't take enough with food. Has anyone else experienced this?

We ate Ramen noodles for a long time (as in dry and broken up as a crunchy snack). I've been criticized for it. We gave them up recently when we began making homemade flat bread. That works better for us and is healthier.

Don't quote me on this one, but what I gather, in hot weather especially, we lose a lot of salt through sweating and need salt replacement or at least electrolyte replacement like everyone else. Moreso though with the salt. Everyday though I don't think its necessary though I doubt it harms us as much as people without CF. If you are borderline hypertensive, I'd stay away.
