Random question for those who are familiar with QMB through medicaid..

Ok this is def a random question but I need to know as Im wanting to get a Victoria secret credit card..now i know when you fill outt he application they ask about if you have any savings etc. but it does not ask if you have credit cards i dont think?..

So I just need to know before I apply for one if this will be ok and that it wont affect my eligibility for QMB <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Replies would be great lol I would call and ask them direct but I wanted to ask on here as I feel id get some good reponses <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

I don't know what state you're in, but I assume your QMB-medicaid is about the same as mine. A credit card should not matter. After all, a credit card is like a loan...it's credit - not actual savings or physical money that you (or medicaid) have access to. Just because you have a credit card, doesn't mean you have money, lol. I have a kohls charge card that I only keep for emergencies (and because I got a great deal on outdoor furniture for signing up for it at the time <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0"> ) and a debit card. Medicaid asks how much money is in my checking account for my debit card, but have nothing to do with my charge card or its limit...and my charge card limit or spending habits in return have nothing to do with medicaid eligibility.

You should be fine. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Ok <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> im in texas...i know on the application it asks how much do you spend on clothes a month and i said i only go shopping once a year and my dad gives that money to me which is christmas time...i jus want to make sure having a victoria secret card dont get me caught up in stuff lol...i get the medicaid qmb becuase im low income and the state pays my medicare premiums..and medicaid is my 3rd insurance to pick up on what medicare dont cover...so you still think ill be ok to get this credit card?..i love victoria secret pink clothes lol <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
