raw vegetables and pseudomonas

I recently got my CFer into juicing. But now I'm having second thoughts. Everything Ive been reading says there's a high chance our raw veggies are contaminated with pseudomonas. I wash with a water vinegar solution but what about the sink and my knives or when the vegetables are still in the refrigerator? Is this a valid concern? What are your thoughts. All feedback appreciated. Thank you.

Hi there,
We introduced juicing at the beginning of last year. I have a daughter aged 19 wcf who does not routinely culture pseudomonas (last positive culture two years ago now). Over the last year both my daughter and myself have not had any respiratory infections, colds, flu etc. All cultures have been clear. The benefits have clearly outweighed the risks. I guess pseudomonas is everywhere and whilst we don't go looking for exposure to it and avoid the known risk factors I would draw the line at avoiding healthy eating/juicing, especially when you have washed the produce thoroughly. All the best, Jenny
