<DIV>Hi there,</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Johnny is doing awesome. Well, better than awesome. We don't have clinic for awhile. We went to his 2 week post surgery appointment and he has gained two pounds in 2 weeks. He won't stop eating. He wakes up saying I'm hungry, and feed me. My son has NEVER, NEVER asked for food. It makes me think he must of really been discomforted for awhile. Could this of been the reason why he was always full, and eating was no fun. He didn't have a complete blockage, he had trapped gas. He was still pooping, and that's why I never suspected a blockage with the puking. I thought it was kidney stones! OMG. Well, my question is did any of you see great weight gains and eating after surgery. I hope he keeps it up! </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Thanks,</DIV>

We did see a weight gain within a very short period of time. Two months after his surgery, DS had gained several pounds. After a couple of years in which there was no weight gain -- the doctors did a doubletake and thought it was an error. The poor kid had been feeling full for a least two years -- he'd eat a chicken nugget and announce he was full and we'd scold him because he couldn't be full. Then it was the other extreme in which he'd eat so much, I'd be afraid he was going to vomit, which he'd done before his surgery if he ate too fast or too much.
