Rectal mass found freaking out

Hey All,

Had my colonoscopy today due to red blood in stools. During the exam the doc found a decent size mass. The doctor said he thinks it's a little more than 50% chance it could be cancerous. Of course I've spent the rest of today researching rectal cancer etc.

I'm hoping it is benign. Has anyone else encountered something similar? Any input would be welcomed right now.
