As you can see in the picture below, Courtney and Lauren's room is bright pink and neon green.

It is time for a change!

The girls said they would like a lilac color. I have found some beautiful lilac bedding for them, but now the question is.............

what colors go with lilac? I was thinking a light green, but I am not sure.

Any suggestions?

There are lots of artists on this site who will tell you it depends on what kind of lilac it is. Some lilacs have more blue, or more pink, mauve or grey.

My advice, look at some sites with kids bedding. PB Teen is a good one

Ok after talking to to an architect, she says a peachy orange, warm
greys or grassy greens.  If you take a picture that I could
show her of the bedding I could get her to scan some paint samples
back to you.

Purple and yellow are complimentary colors, so those ranges work well together. To get exact colors i would just go through teenage bedding magazines...there must be ones out there.
