I need help getting rid of roaches that would not bother my cf, i live in a apartment building and the people that moved in next to me have roaches and of course they came over to my place ,since then the people have been evicted but i still see a bug or two, we used raid bombs and stayed away from the apartment for a week but the smell still made me sick.

I've dealt with that same problem and tried every remedy there was and came to a conclusion. I had to move. Roaches are almost impossible to get rid of, especially in an apartment building. When one person exterminates, they just run to the next apt. that didnt( exterminate) and hide out there till the "coast is clear". Any type of bug killer isnt safe for a cf patient to be around, especially a bug bomb. That leaves a film on everything in the place and that is something you dont want. Whats worse is.... the roaches manage to out live all attempts to get rid of them. The only real way to be free of them is to leave them behind and move somewhere else. Be sure not to take any with you though, they are good hiders. In the mean time the only other alternative is to get "roach motels". That way there arent any chemicals to affect you, and you never have to touch them. Good luck........

I use the mouse glue boards to catch spiders in my basement, they try to crawl across the board & stick. Could you put these down to at least catch some of the roaches and does anyone know if they contain chemicals that would be harmful? Since I put them in the basement & am hardly down there, I don't worry about the chemicals (if any) on the glue boards.
