He's been missing for awhile. Someone at one point said he had been banned, but I don't think anyone is entirely sure. I know I miss him!
The mods hate him. Anything having to do with anything he writes is immediately banned. He has written the moderators on several occasions, saying that all he wants is to share information and things that he comes across to help benefit other cfers, to no avail
Someone has it out for him lol....
I don't get it really. I can personally attest that i have done/said many worse things than he has, and I am still here posting. So i really don't know why they treat him like that.

I'm going to get my head bitten off here and I don't know what happened for sure, I don't imagine any of us do.
In my opinion, SD had some good info to contribute, but he abused this board to the point where it was possibly easier for the mods to tell him to leave than it was to put up with watching this board spiral out of control almost every time he posted something. This is just in my opinion of course, I have no idea if what Ender said is really the case or not, I don't think any of us will know.
But there was a lot of controversey about him being here after the way he had treated a number of people. I believe there is room to screw up on this board, we are all human and most of us have done so (I KNOW I have). But there comes a point when one must whey the pros and cons and I think his cons finally outweighed the pros.
I'm not sure if he's gone of his own accord or was asked to leave, and really, I don't care. He has a way of causing drama even when he's not here. This board has been a lot calmer in the last few months.... again, JUST MY OPINION though.

As far as we know, he's gone. Although thanks to the return of "wonderful" <sarcasm> anon posting he could be back.
I believe we were told that Sean's IP address was banned, not his account. There were many others but thanks for proving the point yet again that people like to hide behind the anon label to cause trouble. Also, maybe you should do a search on posts by SeanD and see just how many people he's offended.

One more thing. I have been banned twice (ya ok, my humour isn't necassarily everyones humour). Each time after about a week or so, I was unbanned (obviously posted anon). Bild said that banning is permanant, so than why is it that i only got banned for 1 week, while Sean gets banned permanately. There has got to be temporary banning available. I am proof.

Are you sure you're not confusing blocking with banning? I'm sure there is a difference, as in a person can be blocked from the site for a weeks time due to administrators feeling that the person needs a break from the site or vice versa and an administrator can ban an IP address (and therefore block any user ID's associated with the IP).

job with the goverment in law inforcement
and he didn't think it smart his name being
plastered all over the net, a while back if
you googled his name, it brought up this site.....
background checks can loose one a shot
at a job , even if it really isen't a bad thing
that is found, i myself did a few years with
the fed gov. every department has my prints : (
he is trying to make sure everything comes back clean
Last I heard he is alive and well

you googled his name, it brought up this site.....

If he has been blocked or if his primary computer (IP) is blocked, I'm having a similar problem. This morning I couldn't sign on OR post as anon at work. I emailed admin a couple of times. Once to ask what was going on and again to tell them what the error message was and haven't head a thing. Here's what I posted on forum questions from home over my lunch hour.
