I got a better shake for less than half price of shakeology. I actually get mine free because I got 3 other people to also get the shakes. you can check it out at
http://garirocks.bodybyvi.com and look for the info about 3 for FREE. even if you don't get yours free, 30 shakes a month is $49 or 2 a day for $99 a month. If you want to see the nutritional equivalent, it packs more nutrition than shakeology -
http://garirocks.myvi.net/loseweight. I sometimes do 2 shakes a day. Usually for breakfast i make the shake with milk, put in bowl and add cereal. Not hungry for hours after that. I get plenty of protein, other nutrition, and helps me to maintain my weight. sometimes I make a shake after dinner or before bed, just to get the extra nutrition. I often make what I call a power shake. I put the milk or water in a blender, add almonds, frozen mix of berries, a banana, (or you can also do choc powder or syrup and peanut butter, then it taste like a reeses peanut butter cup). I also add a quarter cup of oats. Mixing oats with the protein helps stabilize my blood sugar and I no longer get those hypo-glycemic sugar dives. this is a much healthier way for us to get our nutrition than all the usual suggestions I was getting from the CF clinic. They want me to consume tons of sugar and high fructose corn syrup. No wonder so many adult cf-ers have diabetes. I am 53, and not even close to having diabetes. The doctors keep telling me I will probably get it, but what do they know. The last time they told I would die in a few weeks was Feb of 2011. Still here! But I have God and adult stem cell treatments to thank for that, but that's another story.
