Good afternoon everyone. Wanted to drop by and update and vent also!! Ashton has been doing pretty good a little cough but right now i think that the whole world has a little cough. Well my husband and I went to Columbus ohio yesterday for the Arnold Fitness Festival(which was fun) but friday night around 12:00am ashton was in his bed moaning so i went in to check on him and he had a fever of 104.2.. My mom was planning on watching him saturday so she said she still would.. so his fever went down to about 100.0 then by2:30 pm on saturday it was back up to 104.7 when i called her to check in.. well we got home at 7:00pm and he had layed down around 5:45pm to sleep well he didnt wake up for dinner so about 9:00pm i went in and took his temp because he was due for more motrin and its was 103.2 again... so i gave him some and he slept the rest of the night until 6:00am.. his fever was much lower then at like 100.0-101.0 so i was thinking it was over!! well i put him down for a nap at about 9:45am this morning and i had to wake him up at 1:45 pm because he was up there moaning again and his fever was 105.1 so more motrin again and now its down to like 99-100 but im soo sick of this fever.. his sister also is running a low grade fever and has a headache... so its a viscious cycle....sorry about the lenght!!!

OH Christi I think its that time of year. Jazmine as home this past week for fevers. A slight cough was the only other sign, but the fevers kicker her butt. Hers never got that high, but I do have to alternate motrin & tylenol to control her fevers and always have. I also cant go by her forehead. I have to feel her temples. She is an odd child in that way......I hope whatever it is moves on quickly!

Christi,

I was also running a high fever in early February. Not quite as high as Asthon...mine was 103.5. I went into the hospital with a lung infection, but they also did a blood test and we found out that I had a moderate case of anemia. Which of course wasn't helping things. Have you taken him to the doctor yet? If not I would very much advise it, just for peace of mind if nothing else.

Hope it passes soon!

Weston is still having high fevers and it has been four days. My nephew had the same thing a few weeks back. It lasts over a week and is just a lot of high fevers and the kids feeling like complete s**t! I hope he is better soon.

Christi, I hope Ashton's fever has finally broke by now--how scarey. I hope he has been getting enough fluids, as this could really dehydrate him (which I'm sure you know--it's the grandma in me being bossy!) Poor thisn, and poor you, two kids sick--uggh. Let us know how things are going for you . . .
