Side-effects of Robitussin?

I started taking Robitussin yesterday (5 days before I'm due to ovulate). I'm intending to take 10mls 4 x daily until after ovulation has happened. However today I have been feeling very nauseous with mild stomach pains and a headache. Has anyone else experienced these as side effects from Robitussin? I'm not sure if I'm sickening for something or if it's the medicine! Sadly I'm definitely not pregnant so that's not the reason for the nausea

i didn't have any side effects from the robitussin. try maybe cutting down on it to like twice a day or stop all at once and see if your stomach ache and headache go away. that's all i can think of.

Why do you take Robitussin? To thin the mucus? What kind do you take? Thanks,

Hi Kerry, I'm trying Robitussin after reading various people's stories of how it might be able to help thin cervical mucus. The best article I found about it is here:

http://www.babyhopes.com/articles/robitussin.html

I know quite a few people on this forum have tried it, some have conceived after taking it and others haven't had any effect from it. However since I know for sure that its my cervical mucus that is causing my infertility, I thought it was worth giving it a go!
