The Navy doc told Brian that they were testing for all CF mutations.....they checked for 23. 23!!!!! I felt like slamming my head into the wall!!! That is lowest number on a test I have EVER heard of. We were hoping to start trying at the begining of the year but that probably won't happen now. I'm really disappointed.

How in the heck can they only check for 23?!! Did these people go to college?!! I'm so sorry, what a disappointment. I'm glad you are being so responsible about this, though. We will keep hoping for the best for you.

Maybe they are testing all the mutations, but only can do 23 a month. So it will take them 5 years.
Seriously that is completely unreal, are they not aware of how many mutations there are?
