singulair and sinus

<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif" border="0"><img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">I have a 5 year old who has been ill since he started kindergarten, I brought him to a pulminary specialist and he seems to think that he has asthma, he is up most all night coughing and gagging to the point of some times vomiting.We are all exhausted, the doc. put him on 1/2 t. predisone, and singular at night, the first night on singular he slept pretty much through the night although I noticed he was getting very stuffed up, which at first was a releif after a continuous runny nose, though now I am wondering if the singular is causing him to get stuffed up, at the same time we took his humidifyer out of his room cause his doc. said it was a breeding ground for dust mites, he is on the very low side of alergic to dust mites and that is the only thing the so called blood test says that he is allergic to,bought an ionic breeze air purifier, I am so frustrated with all of this any advise. Hi, My husband says you should have him checked for reflux and sinus infection. See if you can get him to an ENT (ear,nose & throat).Liza
