Sinus headaches

My daughter is 13 years old with CF. She had sinus surgery 4 years ago and again 2/07. She had daily debilitating headaches. She has been taking Tylenol in the a.m. just to make it through the day. They bring her to tears most every day. I thought the last surgery would take care of them, however, they are just as bad as if not worse. I took her to the eye doctor to rule out any issues and she has not vision issues. We are also at a loss to where to go next.

I had sinus issues for years. 4-5 sinus infections a year.

I finally got allergy tested. I use an intranasal steroid every day (I never miss a day.... ever), I take an anti-histamine and I get allergy shots.

I haven't had a sinus infection in about 4 years and my lungs are so much healthier for it.

Check out my blog about allergies if you want to learn more. Allergies are so often undiagnosed in CFers because symptoms are similar to CF.

Go to my blog, scroll down to the bottom left to Categories. Under categories click "allergies" and "medications"

You'll be amazed at how much better life can get...

i too get these stupid sinus headaches, though mine aren't as frequent or as chronic. I have found that a really long hot shower will help temporaroly because of the steam but maybe that is just me. Hope you get some releif.
