I've never heard of adenoids until now, but I looked them up and found a couple sites.

<a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.pedisurg.com/PtEducENT/adenoids.htm">http://www.pedisurg.com/PtEducENT/adenoids.htm</a>

It doesn't seem to say anything about headaches, though some of the symptoms like stuffy nose, not getting good sleep, etc. can cause headaches. It sounds like adenoids aren't all that essential and infected adenoids can lead to further infection in the sinuses, lungs, or tonsils, so it may be best to remove them.

My random two cents on adenoids. I thought that my adenoids had been reduced during a sinus surgery (i've had four through the years), but after moving and starting at a new ENT, he told me that they had actually been entirely removed at some point. I don't find myself missing them, so probably not too big a deal.
