I've had one, as have 2 of my kids.

You will show up late evening, and they will have you get into PJ's. Then they will connect about 30ish wires to your head using goop; there are also ones on your calves, and one on your upper lip (CO2). If you sleep with O2 or Bipap they would set that up as well.

Then you get comfortable and try to sleep, they ask you sleep on your back if you can as it makes the readings easier....

You just sleep and don't know anything else until morning. They wake you up, take the leads off & you head home. Then a Pulmo will read the report and get it back to whoever ordered the study.

Overall it is not too bad, not a great night's sleep necessarily but not as bad as I expected once I did fall asleep.
